Fantasy Hockey Week 11: Streaming Targets & Strength of Schedule | SOS Insights 2025-26 (2026)

Fantasy Hockey 2025-26: Weekly Strength of Schedule and Streaming Targets — Week 11 (Rewritten)

Gaining an edge in fantasy hockey often hinges on maximizing your man games and targeting players facing favorable matchups. Our Fantasy Hockey Strength of Schedule tool is designed to help you do exactly that.

Each week, we review every NHL team’s upcoming slate using three core factors:

  • Games Played: More games translate to more chances to rack up fantasy points.
  • Strength of Schedule (SOS): Measured by opponent difficulty, a higher SOS score means the matchups look easier.
  • Light Nights: Nights with eight or fewer games, which make it easier to fit additional players into your active lineup.

By blending these elements, the tool points out which teams—and which streaming options—are best positioned for fantasy success in the coming week.

If you’d like a full breakdown of each team’s schedule, check out our Fantasy Hockey Strength of Schedule Tool (https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/strength-of-schedule) — updated daily to highlight teams with the most games and the best light-night opportunities each week.

Week 11 Strength of Schedule

Week 11 Streaming Targets

Week 11 is a relatively open week for streaming in fantasy hockey. Only Saturday stands out as a genuinely busy night (13 games), which means you should be able to rotate waiver-wire adds into your lineup on the other six days without major conflicts. As a result, the traditional emphasis on light nights is somewhat muted this week.

Nevertheless, four teams emerge as strong streaming targets with four games that fall on nights with 10 or fewer games: Dallas Stars, New York Rangers, Utah Mammoth, and Winnipeg Jets.

New York Rangers

We’ll start with the Rangers. If you have even a small amount of lineup flexibility on Saturday, you could potentially squeeze five games from New York in Week 11. In my league, I had one empty winger spot on Saturday, which made the Rangers my top priority.

Alexis Lafrenière (LW/RW – 22% rostered)

Lafrenière is the best-positioned low-owned Ranger to deliver a productive Week 11. He’s skating on the top line with Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin, and he was recently moved back onto PP1.

His recent production isn’t explosive—five points (3 goals, 2 assists) in his last 10 games—but Lafrenière provides a solid floor in extended formats. In that stretch, he’s averaging 1.7 shots on goal, 3.2 shot attempts, and 2.4 hits per game. After a slow start, he’s posted 15 points (6G/9A) in his last 25 games, making him a dependable all-format streamer.

Conor Sheary (LW – 0% rostered)

It’s been a while since Sheary appeared in these write-ups, but options in New York are limited and his role has expanded. He’s averaged 16:03 of ice time over his last five games while playing alongside Vincent Trocheck and J.T. Miller.

Sheary is primarily a deep-league consideration, but five games in a week can still yield meaningful volume if you’re scrambling for options.

Dallas Stars

Dallas skates four times this week and carries the second-best SOS. The caveat? Most of their top players are rostered in over 50% of leagues.

Jamie Benn (C/LW – 18% rostered)

Benn is the notable exception. He enters Week 11 with nine points (4G/5A) in his last 13 games and lines up with Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson at 5v5.

That usage provides upside, but his minutes have trended down—approximately 13:46 TOI over his last three games. Benn is a viable streaming option, but expectations should be tempered.

Utah Mammoth

Utah boasts the easiest average opponent rating among teams with four streaming games, and they sit 11th in overall SOS for the week.

Lawson Crouse (LW/RW – 16% rostered)

Having spent much of the season on the third line, Crouse has recently been promoted to the second line and arrives at Week 11 with six points (4G/2A) in his last 10 games.

He’s probably already rostered in banger leagues, but Crouse still holds standard-league value thanks to substantial top-six minutes. Over his last seven games, he’s averaging 18:44 of ice time, which yields a steady floor of 1.6 shots on goal, 4.1 shot attempts, and 2.6 hits per game.

Winnipeg Jets

The Jets rank tied for the most light nights this week, making them a practical streaming option if your lineup has space on Tuesday or Thursday.

Cole Perfetti (C/LW/RW – 20% rostered)

Perfetti remains in the Jets’ top-six and on the top power-play unit, but his production hasn’t followed. He has just six points (2G/4A) in 17 games this season and only three points in his last 11 games.

While the schedule may necessitate deeper-league adds, there are more productive options elsewhere in this article.

Florida Panthers

Florida also features three light nights this week, so depending on how you structure your lineup, you may need to consider them as well.

Anton Lundell (C – 39% rostered)

Many anticipated Lundell to breakout in Barkov’s absence, and he’s largely delivered. Lundell has a point in 20 of 31 games this season and enters Week 11 with 14 points (5G/9A) in his last 15 games.

His heavy usage at the top of the lineup makes him a reliable streamer who could become a long-term hold.

Mackie Samoskevich (RW – 4% rostered)

Samoskevich is a strong banger-league streaming option. While his offensive numbers are modest—six points (2G/4A) in his last 11 games—the floor is excellent. In that span, he’s averaging 2.8 shots on goal, 5.3 shot attempts, and 2.7 hits per game, despite a suboptimal shooting percentage of 6.5%.

Detroit Red Wings

Detroit carries the second-easiest average opponent rating for the week. If you have lineup space most nights, they offer several worthwhile streaming options.

Emmitt Finnie (C/LW – 10% rostered)

Finnie remains a viable streaming option as long as he’s skating with Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond. He arrives at Week 11 with seven points (3G/4A) in his last 14 games.

That production isn’t spectacular, but Finnie has shown week-winning upside earlier in the season, making him a solid schedule-driven pickup.

Andrew Copp (C/LW – 2% rostered)

Copp’s offense has heated up, with seven points (2G/5A) in his last seven games. The surge coincides with him skating on Detroit’s second line with Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane.

That trio has been dominant, posting 3.14 expected goals for per 60 minutes and outscoring opponents 12–0 at 5-on-5. With DeBrincat on pace for around 45 goals and 92 points, and Kane performing at an 87-point pace over his last 17 games, Copp is in a prime position to contribute.

St. Louis Blues

The Blues play three games in the first four nights, making them a strong early-week streaming option before shifting toward a Friday/Sunday focus.

Pavel Buchnevich (C/LW/RW – 23% rostered)

Buchnevich has been relatively quiet, but he’s starting to heat up. He’s collected nine points (3G/6A) in his last 12 games while averaging 19:36 of ice time.

Skating on the top line with Robert Thomas and Jake Neighbours, that trio has produced 32.3 Corsi-for per 60 and 16.13 high-danger chances for per 60, consistently generating quality looks in high-danger areas.

Jake Neighbours (LW/RW – 14% rostered)

Neighbours has also found another gear in December, tallying five points (2G/3A) in his last seven games. He’s an excellent high-volume streaming option in deeper leagues, averaging 4.0 hits per game over that span while contributing offensively.
